The mission of The United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. As a church and a denomination we profess a believe in the Christian faith as contained in the Nicene and Apostles Creeds. While we welcome all who wish to grow closer to Jesus Christ, our faith is expressed and bounded by the Discipline of the UMC, particularly the Articles and Confession of Faith, The General Rules of the United Societies, and the Sermons of John Wesley. We also find our faith expressed through music, particularly in the hymns of Charles Wesley and the faith expressed in the songs of the United Methodist Hymnal.
